    FAQ

What ages are these courses for?
They are for 6 to 16. All courses (fixed terms or camps) are mixed age.

Why are the courses mixed ages?

Mixed-age courses are the best for consolidating understanding through peer learning. Younger children model after the older children. Older children take what they have learnt and apply to teach the younger ones

How many children are in each course?

We have a minimum of 8 to start a course, and can take up to 15 in each cohort.

    How are the courses conducted?

Entrepreneurship is a journey of discovery. Your facilitators will conduct some teaching through videos and live instruction, and facilitate a lot of experiential learning - making, role playing, presenting. We'll help children ask the right questions and be a steward in their entrepreneur ship!

Note: Outdoor class format will have limited video instruction

I already know what I want to sell and how to price it. Would this course be relevant to me?

Yes. How well do you know your customer avatar / target customer? How do you know you're pricing right and not leaving money off the table? How do you calculate how much products to make? Are you making your packaging attractive and are you marketing to the right places? What do you do if you have no customers? There will be plenty we can discuss!

What do I have to prepare for course?

As this is a hands-on course, children may be required to bring materials they need for the fair to the course. This will be determined after the first couple of lessons.

For children attending camps, they will have to pack lunch.

If I enroll for the course, do I automatically get registered for Children's Entrepreneurship Fair?

When you enroll for the course, you are guaranteed to have a booth space at the Fair. However, you will still need to register and be accepted. We will also set aside a time in the course and walk you through the registration process.

Is it compulsory for all children joining the Children's Entrepreneurship Fair to enroll in the Start Your Own Business Entrepreneurship Course?

No, it is not mandatory. However, it will be very helpful for you as it take you through the entire journey of setting up a business, how to deal with failures, and work with the unexpected.

Can I choose not to join the Children's Entrepreneurship Fair?

Yes, you can join the course and not join the Fair. But really, that's the most fun part of it - Selling something and earning your own money!

Can I enroll the course with my friends who will be my business partners?

Yes! This course works best (and is the most fun) when enrolled together with their business partners (children participating in the same fair booth).

Can I take what I have learnt in the course and share it with my business partners, who are not enrolled in the course?

Yes, of course you can share what you have learnt! It will help you tremendously! However, you will not be allowed to record the classes in any format, and reproduce or share with anyone.
